Spending some time on Amazon, I found How to Make Sewing Patterns by Donald McCunn. Even though it was not at our local library, I was able to inter-library loan it from a neighboring county. It has been a little hard to follow, but watching his tutorials on YouTube helped to understand. So, with all of that, I adventured out to our local Staples and bought a french curve, 1-inch drafting paper, and tracing paper. And thus started my adventure of drafting my own basic slopper!
I decided to make this blog to chronicle my trials in hopes it will help other aspiring plus sized sewers. It hasn't been easy, but it has been fun!
My next post will show you how I made a duct tape dress form. It's a little lopsided, but it should still work ^_~
